Many of my Dance/Movement Therapy teachers will say - "how we move is how we live". If we explore what it is like to physically slow down in our bodies, will this translate into the ways in which we live our lives? What is the motivation for the pace we keep ourselves at day to day? What is the fear that stops us from slowing down? What happens when we consciously slow down our regular pace?

All questions we will strive to explore this Friday night.

The intention with the LABS is multifaceted.

This structure allows individuals who are curious about dance/movement therapy to access the form in a group setting, at a rate that is significantly lower than an individual or group therapy session.

The intention is for connection, an invitation of curiosity and play, and experiential exploration of the ways our movement influences our minds and bodies.

Marie-Claire is also passionate about exploring new ideas in real time; these LABS give her a space to do so.
