 Being Body Aware

A 5 Week Mindful Movement Series

In this series, we explore how an increased awareness of the body and its sensations will deepen our connection to self. 

When we are disconnected from our body, we may feel disoriented, clumsy, uneasy, or completely dissociated from our wants and needs. The truth is, we live in a world that encourages disconnection from our bodies. But our bodies hold truth, wisdom, and authenticity. By learning to listen closely, we can discover a more grounded, whole, and confident sense of self. 

Over 5 weeks, come explore the wisdom present in your body. Learn practical tools to tune-in to your inner-most physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. By noticing and exploring subtle sensations in our body, we can tap into our deepest inner-wisdom. 

This subtle movement practice will merge elements rooted in Dance/Movement Therapy, Authentic Movement, and Mindfulness Meditation. It will be unlike any other movement practice offered in the city.
